Annual Fund Operating Expenses
These are expenses that you pay each year as a percentage of the value of your investment.
|Distribution and/or Service (12b-1) Fees||0.25%|
|Acquired Fund Fees and Expenses||0.69%|
|Total Annual Fund Operating Expenses||0.94%|
This Example is intended to help you compare the cost of investing in the Fund with the cost of investing in other mutual funds. The Example assumes that you invest $10,000 in the Fund for the time periods indicated. The Example also assumes that your investment has a 5% return each year and that the Fund’s operating expenses remain the same. Although your actual costs may be higher or lower, under these assumptions, your costs would be:
|1 Year||3 Year||5 Year||10 Year|
The Fund pays transaction costs, such as commissions, when it buys and sells securities (or “turns over” its portfolio). A higher portfolio turnover may indicate higher transaction costs and may result in higher taxes when Fund shares are held in a taxable account. These costs, which are not reflected in annual fund operating expenses or in the Example, affect the Fund’s performance.
|Account Type||Administrative Class|
Administrative Class shares are limited only to eligible retirement plans and financial intermediaries. There is no minimum investment for qualified retirement plans and Section 457 plans.
The Harbor Target Retirement Income Fund is designed for investors currently in retirement, and its investments are expected to remain stable over time. The other Harbor Target Retirement Funds are designed for investors who plan to retire close to the year indicated in the Funds' names. These Funds' asset allocations will change over time and become more conservative as time elapses. The principal value of the Funds is not guaranteed at any time, including the target retirement date.
