Matthew G. Pallai
Head of Multi-Asset Solutions, Portfolio Manager
Matthew Pallai is the Head of Multi-Asset Solutions at Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. He leads the build out of a new investment capability that will focus on shaping the firm’s investment insights and creating multi-asset products to deliver client solutions. Prior to joining Harbor, Matthew spent 17 years as a portfolio manager at JPMorgan, most recently managing Income strategies and Advisory portfolios within their Multi Asset Solutions group. Before working at JPMorgan, Matthew worked 14 years managing securitized products and global unconstrained fixed income portfolios. He earned B.A. in Mathematics from Boston College, and M.A. in Economics from New York University.
Paul C. Herbert, CFA, CAIA
Managing Director, Portfolio Manager
Paul Herbert has been a member of the Investment & Portfolio Management team at Harbor since 2008. He was named as a Portfolio Manager of the Harbor Target Retirement Funds in 2009, and was named Managing Director in 2014. As a member of the Investment & Portfolio Management team, Paul has been responsible for the identification, evaluation, and selection of investment managers for the Harbor Funds and the Harbor Capital Group Trust. Paul’s experience in manager research and evaluation began in 1999.
Previously, Paul was Associate Director of Mutual Fund Analysis for Morningstar, Inc. and Editor of the firm’s American Funds Fund Family Newsletter. He has earned a B.B.A in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
